Richland came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Lancaster Tigers by a score of 2-0.

Richland never let Lancaster on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21.

Richland found their leader in freshman Reagan Oliver, who had 12 assists and three aces.

Richland's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Lancaster, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richland will challenge Frisco at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lancaster, they will square off against Red Oak at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
