Baseball Recap: O'bannon Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

O'Bannon won the last time they faced Leflore County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Greenwaves were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Greenwaves have won eight matches by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

O'Bannon got a massive performance out of Jermiah Macon, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Chandler Wade, who scored a run and stole five bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

O'Bannon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Leflore County only posted a batting average of .083.

O'Bannon pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Leflore County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: O'Bannon beat the Tigers by a score of 20-8 later that day.
