Meanwhile, Energy Tech came into Monday's matchup having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 79-73 win over Queens Tech on Monday. Energy Tech's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Maspeth has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Energy Tech, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Maspeth against Energy Tech when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 61-26 win. Will Maspeth repeat their success, or does Energy Tech have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
