Basketball Recap: Career Magnet Comes Up Short

Career Magnet lost against Hillhouse back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Career Magnet Panthers came up short against the Hillhouse Academics, falling 81-57. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Academics are ranked seventh).

Career Magnet has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Hillhouse, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Career Magnet does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hillhouse, they have already played their next game, an 81-57 win against Career-Hillhouse on the 15th.
