Calvary Christian has gone 4-0 against King's Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Calvary Christian EAGLES will venture away from home to take on King's Academy at 6:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Saturday, Calvary Christian didn't have too much trouble with Varsity Opponent as they won 55-36.

Meanwhile, King's Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Varsity Opponent on Friday, taking the game 70-58. The victory made it back-to-back wins for King's Academy.

Calvary Christian better focus on containing Luke Dubois and Gavin Ruberg as the pair were huge in King's Academy's win. Dubois went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points and five boards, while Ruberg dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. Those 28 points gave Dubois a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Mikel, who posted 11 points and seven boards.

King's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Calvary Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.

Calvary Christian beat King's Academy 53-42 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Calvary Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
