Volleyball Recap: Central Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Lee's Summit North

Central faced Lee's Summit North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Central came up short against Lee's Summit North, falling 3-0. It was the first time this season that the Indians let down their fans at home.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-14.

Brayden Wilson was the offensive standout of the match as he had 16 digs and three aces. That's the most aces he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-2.

Central has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Raytown South on the 27th. As for Lee's Summit North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Lee's Summit West on the 26th.
