Softball Recap: Palmer Bulldogs vs. Greenwood Rangers

While Palmer put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Greenwood. The Palmer Bulldogs came out on top against the Greenwood Rangers by a score of 5-0.

Kenli Dobie made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up a single earned runs in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Dobie wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Reagan Davis, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Greenwood, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Palmer will square off against Ferris at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Greenwood, they will take on Glen Rose in a tournament on Saturday.
