Bucksport's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jetta Shook, who had 21 digs, nine kills, three aces, and a block. With that strong performance, Shook is now averaging an impressive 10.7 digs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Marina Keene, who had 29 digs and three aces.
Bucksport's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Woodland, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4.
