Basketball Recap: Gregory Extends Winning Streak to 18

With a playoff win on the line, Gregory rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars, posting a 47-12 victory. The Gorillas have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 21 points or more this season.

Colt Keiser was his usual excellent self, shooting 56% from the field to rack up 18 points. He is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cruz Klundt, who posted four points in addition to nine assists and six rebounds.

The win was the 18th in a row for Gregory, bringing their record for this year to 22-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points over those games. As for Corsica/Stickney, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Gregory wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 58-56 loss against Lyman on the 11th. Corsica/Stickney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
