Soccer Game Preview: Temple vs. Cleburne County

Temple will challenge Cleburne County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Temple's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Temple and Pepperell meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Tigers came up short against the Dragons, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, Cleburne County's contest on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They never let Childersburg get on the board and left with a 4-0 win.

Temple now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Cleburne County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Everything went Temple's way against Cleburne County in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as Temple made off with a 6-0 win. Will Temple repeat their success, or does Cleburne County has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
