Soccer Recap: Battle Creek Gets the Win

Battle Creek proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by five) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the Forrest Rockets 6-5. Ashlan Alexander had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Battle Creek.

Battle Creek's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Forrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Battle Creek will head out to face off against Central Magnet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Forrest, they will venture away from home to challenge Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Forrest will be up against Fayetteville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 10.6 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
