Naperville Central dropped down to 14-10 on Saturday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Galesburg Silver Streaks by a score of 2-1. The Redhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Silver Streaks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

As for Galesburg, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 8-13 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since September 2nd.

Among those leading the charge was Grace Herchenroder, who had 11 digs and six aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August.

Naperville Central has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Yorkville Christian on the 11th. As for Galesburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Dixon on the 11th.
