Basketball Recap: Jackson Academy Takes a Loss

Jackson Academy lost against Columbus back in January of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Raiders took a 73-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons.

Jackson Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Columbus, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Jackson Prep at 7:45 p.m. on January 6, 2026. Columbus and Meridian will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
