On Thursday, the Atchison Phoenix blew past the North RedHawks, posting a 48-14 victory. The Phoenix have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 24 points or more this season.

Atchison pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for North, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Atchison will welcome Highland Park on Tuesday. Highland Park will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Atchison surely won't give up without a fight. As for North, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 39-35 win against Schlagle on the 24th.
