Volleyball Recap: North Central Comes Up Short

North Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Ishpeming Hematites. If the Jets were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Hematites when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Ishpeming, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Central will square off against Carney-Nadeau at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ishpeming, they will challenge Gwinn on Tuesday. The last three games the Modeltowners have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
