It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Tri-County North ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Tri-Village Patriots. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

The team relied heavily on Carter Lake, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Luke Baughman was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Tri-County North's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Tri-Village, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Tri-County North will challenge National Trail at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tri-Village, they will head out on the road to face off against Emmanuel Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
