ConVal came tearing into Friday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Lebanon Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Monday.

ConVal's victory bumped their record up to 10-5-1. As for Lebanon, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. ConVal will square off against rival Bow at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lebanon is set to take on their familiar foe Campbell at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
