They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 67-29 win over Greater Beckley Christian. With Mercer Christian Academy ahead 54-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Mercer Christian Academy was led to victory by Kayley Trump and Ella Botts. Trump scored 19 points along with seven steals, while Botts scored 18 points along with seven steals and five assists. Trump is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Karis Trump, who scored ten points along with five assists and two steals.
Mercer Christian Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Greater Beckley Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
