Basketball Game Preview: Springdale Bulldogs vs. Bentonville Tigers

The Springdale Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Bentonville Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Springdale will be looking to extend their current 17-game winning streak.

Springdale is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arkansas' top teams: Fayetteville, who was ranked seventh at the time (Springdale was ranked first). Springdale came out on top against Fayetteville by a score of 66-59 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Bentonville earned a 67-58 victory over Bentonville West on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Springdale's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-3. As for Bentonville, their victory bumped their record up to 17-10.

Springdale was able to grind out a solid win over Bentonville in their previous matchup back in January, winning 47-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Springdale since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
