Tecumseh is 8-1 against South Spencer since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Braves will be playing at home against the Rebels at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tecumseh has 16 straight victories, South Spencer has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Tecumseh had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Castle on Thursday. The Braves never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Braves, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for South Spencer's offense. They came up short against Princeton on Wednesday, falling 6-0.

Tecumseh's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for South Spencer, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Everything went Tecumseh's way against South Spencer when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Tecumseh made off with an 11-0 victory. Do the Braves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rebels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
