Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklin Learning Center). They blew past the Constitution Generals 18-9 on Monday. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Robiel Bernard was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one home run, four stolen bases, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sean Miguel, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Franklin Learning Center was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .312 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Franklin Learning Center is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Constitution, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Franklin Learning Center didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 24-1 victory against Science Leadership Academy at Beeber on the 24th. As for Constitution, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-9 win against Boys' Latin Charter on the 25th.
