Volleyball Recap: West Albany's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

West Albany had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the McKay Royal Scots as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant West Albany was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9, 25-3.

Lily Hamblin paced West Albany's offense, picking up nine kills. Hamblin got some help from Lilyanne Gange and her 15 assists. Gange was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

West Albany's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for McKay, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Coming up, West Albany will welcome Corvallis at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McKay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
