Basketball Recap: Cabell Midland Takes a Loss

If Cabell Midland was riding high fresh off their 92-33 takedown of Lincoln County last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cabell Midland Knights lost 85-63 to the Parkersburg Big Reds on Tuesday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Big Reds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Cabell Midland lost, don't look at Aidan Ray. Despite the final result, he posted 19 points and eight boards. Samuel Phillips also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
