Recap: Clark Cougars vs. SA Roosevelt Rough Riders
After flying high against the Churchill Chargers last Thursday, The Clark Cougars came back down to earth. Clark took a 36-21 bruising from SA Roosevelt on Thursday. Clark was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as SA Roosevelt apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Clark's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lawrence Ford, who picked up 148 receiving yards and a touchdown. Armon Gardner was in the mix as well, providing Clark with two touchdowns.
Clark's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for SA Roosevelt, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
Clark will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Brandeis at 7:00 p.m. As for SA Roosevelt, they will head out on the road to face off against Reagan at 7:30 p.m. on October 27th. Reagan will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
