Football Recap: Chamberlain Takes a Loss

Chamberlain fell victim to Lennard and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Longhorns, falling 20-0. Having soared to a lofty 39 points in the game before, the Storm's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Even if they lost, Chamberlain's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Michael Denson, Javon Parker, and Xavier Ether, who each picked up one sack apiece. Jermiah Holden was another major factor on D, making 11 total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Ronnie Wilson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lennard, rushing for 125 yards and one score on only ten carries. Jacob Mobley was another key player, throwing for 143 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes.

Chamberlain's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Lennard, their record is now 8-2.

As of now, neither Chamberlain nor the Longhorns have any future games scheduled.
