Baseball Recap: Buchanan Gets the Win

Buchanan won the last time they faced Berrien Springs and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bucks walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Shamrocks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bucks.

Jake Franklin was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Zeiger, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Buchanan's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Berrien Springs, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buchanan will host Constantine at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Berrien Springs, they will welcome Dowagiac at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
