Football Recap: Southwood Comes Up Short

Southwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 55-0 loss at the hands of the Madison-Grant Argylls.

Eli Shellhamer threw for 27 yards on five of 13 attempts. Owen Enyeart was his top target, picking up 36 receiving yards.

Southwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Madison-Grant, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwood will host Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison-Grant, they will welcome Blackford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Argylls' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
