Volleyball Recap: Fort Scott Christian Heights Takes a Loss

Fort Scott Christian Heights managed to slip by Outreach Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Crusaders lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs on Friday.

Fort Scott Christian Heights was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23, 25-17.

Outreach Christian found their leader in sophomore Olivia Bartelle, who had five kills and four aces.

Fort Scott Christian Heights' loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Outreach Christian, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.

Coincidentally, Fort Scott Christian Heights and Outreach Christian will both be playing Northern Hills Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host Northern Hills Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Crusaders will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
