Volleyball Recap: Vista Grande Takes a Loss

Vista Grande was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Catalina Foothills Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Vista Grande took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12, 25-16.

Vista Grande's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Catalina Foothills, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Vista Grande will square off against rival Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Catalina Foothills is set to challenge their familiar foe Canyon del Oro at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
