Baseball Recap: Subiaco Academy Takes a Loss

If Subiaco Academy was feeling good fresh off their 13-0 takedown of Acorn last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Subiaco Academy Trojans came up short against the Paris Eagles on Monday, falling 26-3. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Jacob Grist made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Owen Pennington was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Subiaco Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Paris, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Subiaco Academy will welcome Hackett at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hackett will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Subiaco Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Paris, they will challenge Lamar at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
