Baseball Recap: Trenton Takes a Loss

Trenton lost against Union County back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Trenton took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Union County. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Trenton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Moses, who went 2-for-3 with one triple. That triple was Moses' first of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Trenton and nudges their season record down to 11-3. As for Union County, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.

Trenton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-1 victory against Chiefland on the 24th. As for Union County, they have also already played their next match, a 6-3 loss against St. Joseph Academy on the 21st.
