Camden County entered their tilt with Hertford County on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 8-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 on Thursday.

Cooper Lewin was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Shawn Hoff, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Camden County pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Hertford County, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camden County will welcome Holmes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Aces will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Bruins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hertford County, they will take on Manteo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Redskins have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season.
