Aspen came tearing into Tuesday's match with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 67-59 victory over the Delta Panthers. Given the Skiers' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Panthers are ranked 175th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Aspen's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tommy Franceschi, who posted 18 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Luke Balko, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Aspen's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points over those games. As for Delta, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Looking ahead, Aspen will challenge Basalt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Basalt is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season. As for Delta, they will square off against Steamboat Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Delta has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 192 points over their last three contests.
