Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Midway). They enjoyed a cozy 91-74 victory over the Jellico Blue Devils on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Green Wave as they're now sitting on six straight.

Jellico's loss came despite strong showings from Trey Vann and Seth Brandenburg. Vann almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds, while Brandenburg went 6 for 11 en route to 16 points along with six assists and six boards. Vann's evening made it 16 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dre Webb, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 10 points.

Midway is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.4 points per game. As for Jellico, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-10 record.

Midway will take on Wartburg Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Jellico, they will challenge Oliver Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jellico is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.3 points per game this season.
