Football Recap: Cash Myrick Leads St. Andrew's Episcopal's Defense on Friday

St. Andrew's Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. The contest between the Saints and the Bogue Chitto Bobcats didn't end well, with the Saints falling 29-10. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 34-12 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

St. Andrew's Episcopal didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Cash Myrick picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. Another thorn in Bogue Chitto's side was Dylan Tobias, who picked up a sack and made 13 total tackles.

Jayden Poole had a dynamite game For Bogue Chitto., rushing for 241 yards and one TD while picking up 15.1 yards per carry. Poole really tore up the turf during one magnificent 90-yard run.

St. Andrew's Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bogue Chitto, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
