Antioch skates past North Chicago with ease

The Antioch Sequoits entered their tilt with the North Chicago Warhawks with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Antioch simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat North Chicago 42-13 on the road. The team accrued 30 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.

Antioch found their leader in underclassman Heidi Rathmann, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Adelie Gomez, who scored eight points.

Antioch pushed their record up to 15-6 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for North Chicago, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.

Antioch will be playing at home against Grayslake Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Chicago, they will head out on the road to square off against Round Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
