Football Recap: Workman Lobos vs. Gabrielino Eagles
Workman fell victim to Gabrielino and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a blow against the Eagles, falling 50-0. The Lobos lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 33-6 score last time.
Leading Gabrielino to victory were Alijah Sheppard and Ely Lobban. Sheppard rushed for 79 yards and a pair of TDs on only five carries, while Lobban threw for 162 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes. Robert Esparza was in the mix as well, providing the Eagles with one score.
Workman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Gabrielino, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
