Volleyball Recap: Classical Takes a Loss

Classical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ell-Saline Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Rio Rairden, who had 11 digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six matchups.

Classical's loss dropped their record down to 5-19-1. As for Ell-Saline, the win got them back to even at 13-13.

Classical didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Southern Coffey County on the 27th. As for Ell-Saline, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Flinthills on the 27th.
