Recap: Juanita Ravens vs. Mercer Island Islanders
The Juanita Ravens lost against the Mercer Island Islanders back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Juanita had to suffer through a rough 75-47 loss at the hands of Mercer Island. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Juanita in their matchups with Mercer Island: they've now lost four in a row.
Mercer Island can attribute much of their success to Tristen Cruzen, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Will Mcdonald, who scored 12 points.
Juanita now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mercer Island, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Juanita will take on Interlake at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mercer Island, they will head out on the road to face off against Hazen at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
