Softball Preview: Blaine Borderites vs. Meridian Trojans
The Blaine Borderites will head out to challenge the Meridian Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Blaine and seven for Meridian.
Sedro-Woolley hit Blaine with a 11-run fourth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Borderites came up short against the Cubs, falling 18-3. Surprisingly, this marked the Borderites' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
