Basketball Recap: Gainesville Takes a Loss

Gainesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Panther Creek Panthers 80-21. The Leopards were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-11.

Gainesville's loss dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Panther Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Gainesville will host Lake Dallas at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Panther Creek, they will venture away from home to face off against Sanger at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Sanger sitting on three straight wins and Panther Creek on ten.
