Atlantic Christian won the last time they faced The Pilgrim Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Atlantic Christian Cougars enjoyed a cozy 70-53 win over The Pilgrim Academy Pioneers. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on five straight.

Atlantic Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Stokes out in front who went 7 for 12 on his way to 25 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Stokes is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last nine games he's played. Another player making a difference was Charlie Costello, who went 8 of 14 en route to 21 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

The Pilgrim Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ayden Miller, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Mason Parmer was another key player, going 5 for 6 on his way to 15 points and eight boards.

Atlantic Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for The Pilgrim Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
