Tartan and South St. Paul are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Titans will square off against the Packers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tartan is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Tartan didn't have quite enough to beat Denfeld and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, South St. Paul hadn't done well against St. Thomas Academy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Packers came out on top against the Cadets by a score of 7-4. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Packers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Tartan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for South St. Paul, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Tartan skirted past South St. Paul 3-2 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
