Basketball Recap: Clallam Bay Takes a Loss

Clallam Bay was the 23-14 winner over Quilcene when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Clallam Bay Bruins lost to the Quilcene Rangers on the road by a 35-21 margin on Monday. The Bruins just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Clallam Bay's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Quilcene, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clallam Bay will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Non Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Quilcene, they will be home for the holidays to greet Crescent at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Quilcene is facing Crescent at the right time seeing as Crescent is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
