Recap: Kingwood Mustangs vs. North Shore Mustangs
The Kingwood Mustangs were the 44-33 winner over the North Shore Mustangs when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Kingwood took a 39-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Shore on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kingwood has scored all season.
North Shore had a senior duo take command as Deandre Jones scored 11 points and Terrence ?Tj? Alford scored eight points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Teddious Mayes, who scored four points along with five rebounds.
Kingwood now has a losing record at 15-16. As for North Shore, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-17.
Kingwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-34 loss vs. Atascocita on the 10th. North Shore has also already played their next match, a 76-54 loss against Beaumont United on the 10th.
