            Greenfield/Northwestern suffered their closest  loss since January 23, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars by a score of  51-49. The Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing  60-43 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
 Greenfield/Northwestern's loss  came despite strong showings from  Wyatt Stuart and  Garrett Costello.  Stuart  went 7 of 13  en route to 18 points and eight  boards, while  Costello  went 5 for 7  on his way to 11  points and three  steals. Stuart continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Talon Albrecht, who  posted seven points and five  assists.
