Basketball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Trinity lost against Asheboro back in December of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs took a 57-40 bruising from the Blue Comets.

Despite the defeat, Trinity saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Madison Hill posted 15 points and three steals. Mya Hooker was another key player, putting up six points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Trinity now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Asheboro, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Moore at 6:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Asheboro, they will challenge Northwest Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
