Soccer Recap: Marist Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Valley Catholic on Tuesday, Marist came back down to earth. The Spartans fell just short of the North Eugene Highlanders by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Marist were not able to make up for their defeat to North Eugene from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Marist's goal came courtesy of Libby Mclaughlin, who's now up to two this season.

Marist's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marist will head out to square off against North Marion at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Eugene, they will challenge Summit at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
