Recap: Rolla Pirates vs. Weskan Coyotes

This season hasn't been kind to the Rolla Pirates, who are still winless after their fifth game. They were beaten by Weskan 52-21 on Friday. Rolla lost against Weskan in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 63-29 score last time.

Trey Allen was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with seven rebounds for Weskan. That makes it six consecutive games in which Allen has scored at least 25% of Weskan's points. Another player making a difference was Judah Crow, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds.

Rolla bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Weskan, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Rolla will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] at 5:30 p.m. on January 16, 2024. Weskan will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Moscow at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
