Football Recap: Leo Comes Up Short

Leo lost against Niles Notre Dame back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions lost 40-18 to the Dons. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leo's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Niles Notre Dame, they moved to 3-5 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coming up, Leo is taking a road trip to square off against Marmion at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Cadets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Niles Notre Dame, they will take on Marist at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
